The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Friday released its latest recommendations for developing a ‘Unified Numbering Plan' to ensure adequate numbering resources for fixed line (aka landline) and mobile services in the country.

Google Maps have received a new update that makes it easier for users to share their location using Plus Codes. The new change is rolling out to Google Maps for Android through the latest version.
Vodafone Idea today released a clarification about the Financial Times report that had suggesting Google was exploring an investment in the operator. In a letter to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the operator said that “no proposal as reported by the media” has been considered by the board. Vodafone Idea is currently struggling though it has a significant share of mobile subscribers that makes it the second largest player — after Reliance Industries' Jio in the country.
OnePlus 8 is all set to go on sale again at 12pm (noon) IST on June 4. OnePlus was supposed to open sales for the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 in India from today, but due to production difficulties possibly caused by coronavirus, the full-fledged sale has been postponed.
The US National Security Agency says the same Russian military hacking group that interfered in the 2016 presidential election and unleashed a devastating malware attack the following year has been exploiting a major email server program since last August or earlier. The timing of the agency's advisory Thursday was unusual considering that the critical vulnerability in the Exim Mail Transfer Agent — which mostly runs on Unix-type operating systems — was identified 11 months ago, when a patch was issued.
